WIN Pacific Network

About

The WIN Pacific Network was created during the UN Small Island Developing States (UN SIDS) Conference in early September 2014.  Originally established as the WIN Pacific caucus to advocate for issues of concern to indigenous peoples and local communities of the Pacific during the conference proceedings, the WIN Pacific caucus was made up of ten members from organizations based in Fiji, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, and Solomon Islands. Now as the WIN Pacific Network, numerous organizations across the Pacific are engaged to share their knowledge and practice, and strengthen the network
