This section highlights initiatives and projects engaging indigenous and local communities that focus on the use and conservation of traditional knowledge, ecosystem management, the protection of nature, and the making of sustainable livelihoods. It also includes first hand stories and testimonials of WIN partners; representatives from the UNDP Equator Initiative and the Convention on Biological Diversity; and others who participated in the inaugural WIN conference and who now form part of the broader WIN community.

The page is to encourage the sharing of experience informally and through various forms including video, photographs and the written word.

Below is a gallery archive of stories submitted by indigenous and local community land and sea managers. Click any thumbnail to read the entire post.
